Privacy Policy
Effective 4 August 2026
VectorX is built so that this policy can stay short: your data stays on your device, and we don't collect any.
Data you enter
Everything you record in VectorX — load recipes, component inventory, batches, range sessions, and firearm details — is stored locally on the device where you entered it: in an on-device database in the iOS and Android apps, and in your browser's local storage in the web app. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Deleting the app (or clearing your browser's site data for the web app) permanently deletes everything you entered. There is no copy anywhere else, so export or note anything you need first.
What we don't do
- No account or sign-up is required, and none exists today.
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting is embedded in the app.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers are used.
- No data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
Hosting
This website and the VectorX web app are static files served from a content-delivery network. Like any web server, the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and requested URL) to operate the service. We add nothing on top of that.
Cloud sync (planned)
A future optional sync feature will let you store an encrypted-in-transit copy of your data with an account so multiple devices can share it. It will be strictly opt-in, and this policy will be updated with the details before that feature launches. Using VectorX without an account will always remain fully supported.
Contact
A dedicated support address is being set up ahead of the app-store release and will be published here. In the meantime, see the support page.
